The Inertia

A new release from Warren Miller means a new season is on the horizon. It’s actually one of the coolest traditions in outdoor sports, in my opinion, with every year’s new film tour kicking off right as we’re all starting to daydream about opening day. The tradition dates back to 1949, making this year’s SNO-CIETY the 76th time Warren Miller Entertainment has marched through ski towns across the world with something that sends us all home just a little more excited and grateful to be a part of the snow-loving community.

Last year’s film, 75, featured a creative crew we’ve seen on The Inertia several times over the years, Real Skifi. If you’ve ever seen their work, you know they have an outside-the-box approach to skiing. And that led to an obvious and fitting contribution to 75, a segment called Perspective.

Like everything else in a Warren Miller film, it’s fun, it’s creative, and even if you’re firmly planted in the snowboard-only camp, it’s tough to say this isn’t a good watch.

Are these jibs or are these optical illusions? How about both…
