Hibernation has officially ended. And that’s why spring skiing and riding is so fun. You never know what you’re going to get. Bears on the trail. Moose in the lift line. And then all sorts of “wild life” as people celebrate the coming of summer during apres.
This mama bear looked like she was ready to throw down if skier Jaime Stein had gotten too close. Good idea going wide. Stein was riding Blackcomb this weekend when he ran into the mother, who he said had another cub with her as well. Which he noticed after he was a safe distance down the trail.
