Well, this is one way to get downhill mountain biking more exposure. Put the track right in the middle of a city. That may disqualify it as actual ‘mountain biking’ but that doesn’t make it any less extreme. The Red Bull Valparaiso went off in Chile last month.
Filip Polc won the event for the third time. There is actually a world tour of urban downhill mountain biking and Polc won this year’s first event on the tour as well which went off in Santos, Brazil.
