Kilian Jornet is an animal. And, avoiding the macabre, it’s somewhat surprising he’s survived some of his incredible feats, proving exactly how much the human body can withstand. A year ago, Jornet completed a record ascent of Mt. Everest, reaching the top in 26 hours without the help of supplemental oxygen. The speedrunner has set summit records around the globe, including records on Europe’s Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn, Alaska’s Denali, as well as Aconcagua (Argentina) and Kilimanjaro (Tanzania).
Seb Montaz followed Jornet near Chamonix, which was almost as impressive as watching the Spaniard run.
