Radical video coming out of Southern California today shows a 17-year-old girl shoving what looks to be a healthy sized brown bear back over a wall as it tried to enter her Bradbury back yard. The bear had several young cubs in tow. The teenager was reportedly defending her dogs that had gone after the animal.
According to local media, a home security camera showed Hailey Morinico displaying no fear as she went after the bear, which was tussling with her large black dog. After the young woman shoves the animal, it briefly falls over into the neighbor’s yard before crawling with its cubs along an adjacent fence line.
Bradbury is a small town in the San Gabriel Valley on the edge of the Angeles National Forest about an hour from either Mt. Baldy Resort or Mountain High.
