The Inertia

When 29-year-old Alfons Garcia ventured into the backcountry in the heart of the Pyrenees filming for a project for To the Top Films, chances are he wasn’t expecting this. The pro snowboarder who’s participated in a handful of Freeride World Qualifier events was riding on an idyllic bluebird day by all accounts when he jumped a rock, turned, and a sheet of snow began to slide just above him.
