Fly, Frenchman, FLLLYYYYYY!!! There is no denying that the French know how to pursue their pleasures — and that is what we’re chalking this up to: a pursuit of (deranged and, in this case, pointless) pleasure. Still cool. Good for him. Setting a goal. Beating it. Then beating the beating it. That’s like patting yourself on the back while patting your hand on its back.
Anyway, Edmond Plawczyk blazed past the last record he set back in 1999. And since no one beat it until now — largely because people are not trying to beat this record, or know about it for that matter — he effectively supplanted himself as the fastest snowboarder ever, with a speed of 126 miles per hour, or 203 kilometers per hour. However much we might joke about this record, or his getup for that matter,
Seriously, though… what in god’s name was he wearing?
