A new swell arrived in Southern California, and this was day one of the run. For this episode of my Swell Diaries, I headed to Huntington Beach, California to see how the new swell was shaping up. The waves had plenty of size, plenty of energy, and a lot of surfers eager to get the first crack at it.
From clean rides to a few wipeouts, this was a fun way to kick off what looks like a very promising stretch of surf. With more swell on the way, this is just the beginning. Stay tuned for more entries in the diary.
