If you’re a surfer, you very likely have a bucket list that includes a boat trip in the Ments. The island chain has pretty much every wave condition a surfer could ever want: barrels, racy faces, wide open canvasses, warm water – and an idyllic life off the water. Whatever your fancy, whether you’re goofy or regular, it’s there. A part of the Red Bull team boarded a boat and took off from Padang across the Mentawai Straight, hoping to find what they knew was out there. From Macaronis to HT’s and all the spots in between, they found everything they were hoping for.
