A lot of the time, longboarding videos follow a reasonably similar format. Soulful music, stylish surfing, slow motion shots, and a lot of staring out into the ocean. And they’re nice to watch. Longboarding is nice to watch. There’s something very satisfying about someone trimming along the high quarter of a long, small wave. This video, however, switches it up a little bit, if only because of the music. Hip hop and longboarding aren’t often put together, and it’s a pretty decent marriage. Add that to Mick Rodgers’s insane talent on a log, and it’s pretty good way to spend a few minutes.
