It’s hard to name two surfers more exciting to watch at the Box than Jack Robinson and John John Florence. You saw, if you were watching, the finals of the Margaret River event — not at the Box, but across the bay at nearly maxing Main Break — as they battled it out. It was a fantastic pairing for an event that was truly great, but always in the back of one’s mind when the Margs event is running is “what does the Box look like?”
The clip you see above is not a new one. It’s from the archives buried somewhere in the back of John’s sock drawer. Shot on a RED camera, it shows just how talented these two are in waves of serious consequence.
