Slabs are interesting waves. A pitching take off, the thickest of lips, and a shallow wipeout. For a long time, they were all but exclusive to the craziest of bodyboarders–interestingly, many of the craziest slabs that are being surfed today were pioneered by bodyboarders, not that they get any credit for it.
This little slab is somewhere in the Mediterranean, which, contrary to popular belief, does have waves. You just have to know the wheres and the whens to find them. Then whens of the video above is March 24th, and the wheres… well, you’ll have to figure that out for yourself.
