J-Bay’s back on tour, and it feels like order has been restored. If there is one wave that really shows off perfection and imperfection, it is the iconic right-hander. Just before the contest started back in July, a few of the guys showed up to get some practice in. John John Florence, Kolohe Andino, Jordy Smith, Brett Simpson, Jamie O’Brien, Adriano de Souza, Gabriel Medina, and J-Bay local Matthew McGillivray all put their running shoes on and spent a few hours chasing one of the fastest, best waves in the world.
