You may not have heard of Steffi Kerson, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have. The 18-year-old Ventura, CA native has perhaps the most impressive learning curve in surfing. At twelve, she started surfing. By fourteen, she became a member of the USA surf team. And now, just a few years later, she’s attempting step offs at Teahupoo. Granted, it didn’t go so well, but you can’t have the you can’t have the sweet without the sour, right?
