Anthony Walsh is probably one of the most under-rated tube wranglers on the planet. His talent is obvious, though, when Pipeline turns on: he’s frequently out there getting the best waves in one of the most competitive and dangerous lineups on earth. But surfing isn’t the most important thing in his life. It’s family.
Surfing, of course, is still pretty damn important, so when he gets to mix the two together, he’s a happy guy. His wife, Crystal, grew up in Hawaii and loves surfing just as much as her husband does–and their son has inherited that love. This is the Walsh family at home. The family that surfs together stays together.
