Alana Blanchard and Jack Freestone were, for a bit, surfing’s power couple. Then they created human life and were very busy with baby things, so we sort of stopped seeing as much from them. Human life, after all, is much more important than power coupling, so it’s understandable. But every now and again, Alana returns to her roots and gives us a glimpse into what their life is like now. Here is Jack, Alana, and baby Banks spending some time in and around the Waco wave pool—and yes, that’s the same place that might have a couple of brain-eating amoeba, but by the looks of things, the Freestone/Blanchard clan was there in early August.
