Alana Blanchard and Jack Freestone, surfing’s strongest power couple, just became parents. Their baby boy was born on early in December. “Banks Harvey Freestone born last night at home 8 pounds 9 oz healthy as can be,” wrote the proud new mother on Instagram. “It was the best day of our life but what a journey.
They announced their pregnancy to the world back in June when Alana was 20 weeks along. Freestone and Blanchard have been together for a little more than five years, and now they’re moving on to the incredible journey that is parenthood. “I knew birth was going to be hard but wow that was so much more intense then I could have ever imagined,” Blanchard continued. “Women are truly amazing! I couldn’t have done it without Jack Freestone. He was there every step of the way. We are so in love with this little guy.”
