It seems that most dogs hate surfing. Sure, there are a few that might find some enjoyment, but it’s pretty obvious to most people that, to a dog who has no idea what’s happening, being shoved into a wave is a terrifying prospect. Despite the obvious fact that most dogs just want to get the hell off the surfboard–obvious because when they inevitably fall off, they make a mad dash for the shore line like an illegal immigrant who sees his chance–there are still dog surfing events every single year. And people love watching them, so they’re in the news cycle. Just because they’re in the news cycle, though, doesn’t mean that presenters have to be all that excited about it. This particular presenter, the BBC’s Simon McCoy, was not exactly stoked on what he was forced to report on… and it was hilarious.
