Alex Gray might be the most excitable surfer you could ever hope to meet. That’s why it’s not too surprising that he turned a family vacation to Idaho (yes, Idaho) into a surf trip. Now, for the average surfer, summers are filled with flat spells. If we’re lucky, maybe one extended surf trip to a far off land. But for a guy who makes his living by chasing the meanest waves the world’s ever seen at the drop of a dime, this is prime time for Gray to be in Tahiti or any other southern hemi hotspot. But like we said, it shouldn’t be surprising Mr. Gray was several hundred miles from the ocean and still managed to find a couple.
Even less surprising is we get to see Alex’s usual good vibes, a little humility, and all the positivity he shares along the way.
