Name three things in life that couldn’t possibly sound better to any surfer on the planet: surfing in a remote-ish destination with just three of your closest friends and nearly nobody else out, finding rippable, perfect waves that do nothing but invite joy and froth, spending at least half of your waking hours in the water during said amazing session, getting out of the water and devouring an actual feast with your friends, and then finally…taking a nap.
Life doesn’t get much better than that, which is why it’s a very fitting way for Billy Kemper to celebrate his recent Puerto Escondido Cup win amongst a small crew of Hawaiian friends. In fact, the crew is a bonafide Hawaiian all-star team, with the Rothman brothers, Makua and Koa, joining Kemper on the road trips of your dreams.
