Aerial surfing is pretty cool. Power surfing is way cooler. A big, fluid, seamless rail transition off the bottom into a massive gouge will always beat an above the lip rotation. There are a few names that come to mind when one thinks of power surfing, and at least two of them are in the video you see above.
Bobby Martinez, Griffin Colapinto, Eithan Osborne, and the Coffin brothers all hail from California. They know the waves close to their homes like the back of their hands, and it’s edits like this one that make it so obvious.
