Winter is coming. Every year, mid-to-late August is an opportunity to refocus. School is back in session for some, and cooler weather and water temps are not far away. Fall will likely see a few late season south swells light up some of the usual suspects in Southern California, but the winter is another beast entirely. Northern hemi energy awakens nooks and crannies of the Socal coast from their summer slumber. The time is almost upon us.
