If you don’t know much about bodysurfer Mark Drewelow already, you might be more familiar with his pretty soon. Drewelow’s style is unique, introducing a distinct style of accelerating into waves that could revolutionize the sport (if anybody else can learn to mimic him).
According to Steve Cummings, the videographer known as JacuzziSurfer behind Drewelow’s drone style edits, the bodysurfer is setting out for a record session: 60 waves in one hour. “Mark feels that under the right surf conditions, he has the ability to catch 60 waves in one hour,” Cummings says. “We’re in the hunt to find a good spot that would have a fast swell count so he can set that record.”
One wave a minute is quite an ambitious Mark (pun completely intended).
