Kai Lenny is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. He does things on waves that no one else on earth is capable of doing, and he does them with this constant sense of contentment. It’s a rare thing in this life to find a person that’s truly doing something for the love of it–Kai faces his fair share of internet hatred from people doing much less interesting or difficult than him–and making a living from it, but Kai’s one of them. Constantly smiling, constantly on the move, and always ready for the next adventure, Kai is, in every sense of the word, a waterman. And not a waterman in the overused sense–Kai Lenny lives to be in the ocean. This wave on November 8th at Jaws shows a level of comfort on a wave that does not make most people comfortable.
