Last year was a hectic one for Eithan Osborne. As outlined in Skinny Meat Head, the recent film from Dane Reynolds’ Chapter 11, he’s been on a frenetic pace, traveling around the world, trying to balance free surfing and qualifying for the Championship Tour. While the whole endeavor seems pretty brutal, he sure does have a lot to show for it.
A new video from Chapter 11 shows exactly that. In a belated “Best of 2024” edit, we can see the fruits of Osborne’s blood, sweat and tears: a series of waves that sum up not only how far the Ventura surfer has come in the past year, but how far he can go.
“Not many people can pack in as many flights, sessions, boards, beers and waves into a year as this guy can,” reads the caption, “so we threw some of Eithan’s better waves from last year that featured in ‘surf movie of the year,’ Motel Hell by Harry Bryant, Zipper by Stab and Skinny Meat Head by us. Enjoy some cones.”
