So it should be of no surprise that 16-year-old charger Leonardo Fioravanti brings that same passion and zest his fellow Romans have for architecture, cuisine, wine, and art to his surfing. This is the same kid that Kelly Slater’s long-time caddy and Quiksilver’s team manager hand-picked to be toted around the world with the King — so you know he’s not holding back at Pipe. One thing’s for damn sure: we’re glad he is no longer hidden away in the Mediterranean, however gorgeous the girls and delicious the food.
