CJ Hobgood is the man. He surfs like a maniac, works really hard, and smiles while he’s doing it. You know how they say “never turn your back to the ocean”? It’s not always the case. During a free surf at the Cascais Billabong Pro, CJ turned his face to the ocean for just a little too long, and wore a rock for a face mask. Remember when Nikki Van Dijk did pretty much the same thing, except faster? It’d be tough to smile after this one though… but CJ pulls it off like a champ.
