Clay Marzo is one of the best surfers on earth. According to some highly intelligent, incredibly handsome people, he’s the best. He’s got something that no other surfer has: an innate understanding of waves, a freakish talent to read them, and to somehow magically stay on his surfboard no matter what. He’s a wizard. A bonafide surfing wizard. But he’s not one that we’d expect to see surfing a foam board, although they certainly are all the rage these days.
Well, color us wrong, because our expectation wasn’t right. He took a 54-inch hunk of foam to his local Maui honey holes and did his thing. And because it’s Clay Marzo, his “thing” is blowing minds.
