Coco Ho has certainly made good use of her time off tour. She’s slangin’ all the right products, traveling to all the right locales, and surfing as well as she ever has. Ms. Ho has also expanded her network, taking advantage of her boyfriend’s filming connections. Russell Chai has long shot for Mark McMorris, one of the planet’s best snowboarders. Chai’s work is a staple in the snowboarding industry – first because he’s really good, second because he’s a super good dude.
Brock Crouch is also a snowboarding connection, albeit an uber talented one who grew up in North County San Diego, honing his now world-class snowboarding skills at Mammoth while also competing in the occasional NSSA contest. And it shows. The man can rip. Well, he and Coco recently did a quick strike mission to El Salvador and man-oh-man did they totally score. Look at those rippable walls and reeling barrels.
On top of it all, the Whistler-based Chai stomped the hell out of this edit, Happy to Be Here. Fantastic music, fantastic surfing, and a nostalgic travel vibe makes us want to be there. Kudos Russell, Coco, and Brock!
