Just before this video was shot, the BWL announced that a gigantic swell was going to smash into Maui’s best big wave break. The Jaws contest was all set to run. A green light, they said. But at the last minute, things changed. The forecast looked a little less perfect. The waves were still coming, but they would be smaller and not-so-perfect. But when the swell bared its teeth, they were sharp ones. Sharp and oh-so big. You’ve seen a million clips from Jaws… but this one takes the cake.
