Apparently Diamond Dave, David Lee Roth, rock royalty and original frontman of Van Halen made a showing at this year’s event, and this quick interview did not disappoint.
“What a small world until they lose our luggage at the airport, then it’s a big world,” he starts. What?
The guy’s a character of the highest order, that’s for sure. And his disjointed interview might cause you to forget the most important question you should be asking, “What’s David Lee Roth doing at a surf contest in Huntington Beach in the first place?”
