What would any work week be without videos of animals surfing? And how would mainstream news outlets fill their airtime without a bunch of surf and pet puns to accompany those videos? Now, with literally thousands upon thousands of animal surfing videos sprinkled around the web, it’s finally time to find out who is the Kelly Slater of dogs. We don’t know how long before there’s an Association of Professional Dog Surfers, or a Wag Surf League on the way, but hey it’s high time somebody stepped up to see whose dog rips the hardest. In fact, the Purina Surfing Competition is essentially the X-Games for dogs, where they compete in a bunch of different “sports”. What will they think of next?
