Sloppy, overcrowded Lowers never looked so good. Anytime Dane Reynolds stands up on a wave, whether it’s a reeling Rincon right or a two-foot ball of garbage, he blows up. In his latest clip, Mr. Reynolds heads out for a session at windy Lowers with an unruly crowd. Couple hacks, couple stylish foam climbs and a slo-mo air to faceplant in the lip, which is pure gold. Just goes to show that the world’s greatest free surfer is still more entertaining to watch to most people, even when he’s eating sh*t…which is perhaps why the clip is aptly called “Turd Nuggets.” Add in the soft tunes of Ariel Pink, making this a great way to start your week.
