If you’re one of those people who hates longboards with a fiery passion, it’s because you don’t like having fun. Instead, you like complaining about other people having fun, which isn’t very much fun at all. That’s because longboards are really, really fun. If you’re not getting paid to surf, then you probably want to catch a lot of waves and have a lot of fun doing it. Longboarding is smooth and graceful and god damn, it’s pretty to watch. Whether you like it or not, certain waves call for certain boards, and every surfer worth their salt knows the value of a log in the quiver. Everything is slowed down—even pumping down the line becomes a drawn out little dance that is easy on the eyes instead of a flailing race to beat a section. This here’s a man named Kevin Skvarna. He’s surfing a longboard in Mexico, and sheeeiit, it looks great, doesn’t it?
