Mason Ho surfs unlike anyone else. He surfs the way most people mind surf. He can do things on a surfboard that seem impossible, but he does them repeatedly and with ease. When it comes to backhand barrel riding, it’s tough to beat Mason, and when it comes to barrels, it’s tough to beat Padang Padang.
Mason headed over to his beloved Bali for the Padang Padang Cup a few months back, and as you’d expect when one of the best tube riders is surfing one of the best tubes, great things happened.
“Here are some highlights of Mason Ho surfing Padang Padang in Bali, Indonesia this year, with some jams from the ’70s recorded in Indonesia,” Mason’s team wrote on YouTube. “We went over for the Rip Curl Padang Cup and got some really fun sessions out at the famous surf break.”
