Billabong’s Filthy Habits changed the surf video forever with its raw, unapologetic cut of old-school legends the likes of Occy, Richie, Ronnie Burns, Matt Branson, and Butto. The 1988 release was the gift that kept on giving, and in 2009, Occy was back, but this time in the place of his peers, he was joined by a new class of rippers that included Andy Irons and Shane Dorian. In what seems like an effort to promote Still Filthy, someone put together an edit of Andy and Shane frothing over the throwback that inspired their sponsors to put together the updated supercut. The stoke is contagious.
Sure, the promotion is older, but the sh*t-eating grin on the boys’ faces when one of their predecessors claims a wave is timeless.
