The last few months north of the Los Angeles area have been a disaster. The Thomas fire smashed torched its way through the lives of thousands, burning residents from house and home. Then, just a few short weeks after California’s largest wildfire had been officially contained, torrential rains swept through the region, releasing torrents of newly-untethered mud. “We’ve experienced so much devastation and grief…” wrote SeaLevelTV, the people responsible for the film you see above. “I thought I’d try to transform something so horrible into a more beautiful state by mixing fire and water.”
