Longboarding is fantastic. Somewhere along the line, a lot of people pick up a longboard out of desperation–waves are just too fickle sometimes to rely on a regular shortboard. But for many, it turns into a love of the log that just can’t be turned off. Small days turn into great days. Those long, tiny waves you used to just mindsurf turn into waves you can ACTUALLY surf… and it is a wonderful thing.
