It’s pretty hard to watch some GoPro edits and not think to yourself, “Crap, I need to go do that.” The whole phenomenon appears a bit narcissistic when you’re actually out in the ocean, on the mountain, or at a theme park watching somebody film themselves while holding a tiny camera and a selfie stick through even the most mundane moments. But then again once you see the footage of something incredible or borderline crazy that perspective flips into something of inspiration.
Maybe you’re dying to travel more (who doesn’t?). Maybe you should start surfing bigger waves…the kind that make your insides bubble a little. Maybe you haven’t made it out for a true powder day in who knows how many seasons. My point is, you name it, somebody did it and did it awesome in 2015. Mounting a camera on a hammerhead shark, a wedding proposal mid sky dive, and even riding a BMX bike across the rooftops of Gran Canaria before launching into the ocean. These are just some of the awesome things people didn’t just do, but also caught on camera this year. Kind of makes you feel like stepping on the awesome train for 2016, doesn’t it?
