Lay days don’t bother the G boys: when the surf’s flat, Dane, Tanner, and Patrick take to the open road — and Vans’ Down Days series keeps us close to the action as it follows the Southern Californians’ world travels. The first two episodes of the latest four-episode drop sees the beloved brothers carve up rivers in Germany between runs at the BMW track and boots at the biergarten before they head up to the Alps for a lil’ mountaintop paragliding and cheese. Then they head east, far east, to Tokyo where the Samurai swords and sushi still wriggling from out of the fishing nets await, all before heading to Kyoto to visit and experience old Japan. Now where’s our damn passport?!?
