The kid is making moves. With a huge perfect 10-point run at the Vans World Cup of Surfing at Sunset last November, he finished the 2013 season strong and is looking to keep it going in 2014. The young gun from Durban, South Africa, even has a newly updated website! Real things!
Anyway, this edit of Beyrick de Vries ripping up and down his home coastline on fairly relatable waves indeed remind us of Happy Daze and make us quite frankly want to hand over a letter of resignation, get out of this damn office, and head for our own local break. But we suppose for the sake of “paying our bills” we’ll keep our butts in these seats and live vicariously through the South African’s smooth stylings.
