Teahupo’o is perhaps the most unique wave on the planet (read about the mechanics here). But the wave isn’t always producing triple overhead glassy barrels. The weather and swell in this region of Tahiti are extremely unpredictable. What can start as fun-sized glassy day can become a blown out Code Red swell in a matter of hours.
