The end of the WSL season is almost always a sweet and sour one. Soon-to-be rookies are brimming with anticipation, having finally made the dream tour and are excited to show what they can do. A world champ is crowned. And yet, familiar faces fall off tour, and veterans retire.
We were sad to learn that Josh Kerr would be among the class of retirees this year. Kerrzy’s explosive air game and barrel-riding prowess made him a threat to draw in a heat at any stop. And yet, if there’s any consolation it’s that it may not be long until we see a Kerr jersey on the Championship Tour again. The Women’s Championship Tour, that is.
