The Inertia

So that’s the thing about surf, right? It’s one of the only mediums we ride that we can sit and watch all day without even riding it. This quick film is from Mike Lacey, who took some pretty insane footage of Hurricane Ophelia making landfall in Porthleven, in Cornwall, England. Burly beach break barrels, rips moving at the speed of a small car, buildings standing up to the sea like they have for centuries. All in slow motion. An ocean scene we could watch all day–as long as it eventually calms down and organizes so we can ride it.
