Thirty-two miles is a long way to go. Especially when the winds don’t line up to give you bump to surf or swell to link. And the wind usually doesn’t line up for the Catalina Classic, the 32-mile paddleboard race held annually since 1955, where paddlers struggle across the channel in the slog of all slogs–and generally love every minute of it. Well, check that, love those that they’re suffering with, as Chris Aguilar with Fin Film Company so admirably captures here.
