In addition to the famous Fort Point, there are some good beach breaks here and there.

Sutro Bath is a perfect place to watch the sunset in the heart of San Francisco.

Lands End is at the northwest point of the city and is a great place to escape the bustle of the city.

Driving along the Highway 1 is a good way to find a perfect and empty lineup. Especially in the summer time when the winds are offshore.

Mavericks is just few miles away. Despite the mountainous waves that break here, Half Moon Bay can be a pretty peaceful place.

I am a French photographer living in San Francisco. Living in one of the most scenic cities in the world, it is only natural that I specialize in landscapes and seascapes. However, as a surfer, I love integrating my love for surfing with my passion for landscape photography. All of the images in the following photo feature were taken in the Bay Area along Highway 1 over the past several months.
