Until the New Year, Pipeline didn’t exactly do its thing. Sure, there were glimmers here and there, but a true run of swell never really showed up. Now, though, the North Shore’s most famous wave is ringing in the New Year with gusto.
For two days, the best surfers in the world, including Kelly Slater, Russell Bierke, John John Florence, Mark Healy, and more, scored the best wave in the world wearing its finest dancing shoes… and it is a sight to behold.
