The Inertia

Malachi Boyce of Route One Surfboard is California’s best kept secret, so we wanted to show the world how damn good the guy is at what he does. Kelcey Fisher, a well known muralist throughout Southern California, complimented Malachi’s vision perfectly and voila, the KFR1 series comes to life.

This is about showcasing passion for a craft. It’s so important to do what you love and to dedicate yourself singlemindedly to that thing. That’s the message we’re ultimately interested in spreading here.

Each one of these hand painted originals are for purchase exclusively as art installations. However, 100 limited edition replicas per original are also available to purchase as rideable boards in your quiver. This is the Art and Craft, so we want people to be able to enjoy both the visual aesthetics of Kelcey’s art and impeccable functionality of Malachi’s craftsmanship.
