Every wave in this video has somebody inside of it. Not on the shoulder. Not on an open face looking for the best crevice to smash the lip. We really mean inside the wave. Yes, Jonathan Gubbins, gets more than his fair share of tube time in this clip. It’s as if the guy’s a one trick pony, unable to do anything on a surfboard besides take off right under the lip, drag a hand and stall long enough to creep inside those hollow barrels, and race through section after section before coming out the better end of a good old fashioned tube.
