If you ask us, it’s definitely up there. But claiming Macaroni’s is the best wave on the planet is as subjective as it is futile. To others, Pipe, Lowers, J-Bay (minus the sharks), and Teahupo’o, to name a few, are all world-class waves and viable candidates to take the top spot. Truthfully, we’ve never been there before, so we couldn’t tell you. There are, however, tons of surfers who think it is indeed the best wave in the world. And truthfully, we haven’t seen anything but absolute perfection from this magical place. But the question still remains: Is Macaroni’s the best wave in the world? We’ll let you decide…
